laaaa!

hey can someone post on what happened at the garage? pleaseeeee! how was the ribs and root beer! and did you guys teach them high school musical? how's kyle? HAHA.

welll in any case i'm glad i didn't go in the end. nono i love A2 don't get me wrong! but basically cause i was free, i spent the afternoon in the art room working on my painting, and i got quite a bit done. so YAYNESS! come and visit me and my half done painting anytime(: super funny la, cause the white paint i used to make the skin tones was all cakey, now the girl's skin has "pimples" all over. stupid mark was completely disgusted and as usual in his i'm so great tone, commented how it's not supposed to be like that. but miss chan did say it's an interesting texture. haha! ah well mark's actually a sweet SENSITIVE guy la, who was nice enough to teach me how to blend paint. and fell in love with jia hui's poem. haha!! yeah the pimples make it look realistic. hahahahaha. in any case i haven't decided whether i should keep the skin as it is, or go over everything in a white wash to make it extremely pale. which is what i actually wanted cause i thought of contrasting alabaster white skin with intense eyes and hair or sth. but it's looking okay la so maybe i'll leave it. or do a very light layer of white. yeah. and i really like the drippy paint table the girl's resting on haha. no skill needed there so heh i can't boast. my skills still suck. but the effect is cool man. so lame. whatever. can i have a lame chop?

now i have to think about how i'm gonna pattern the girls clothes(miss chan suggested a gustav klimt effect. and i agree! kinda had that in mind in the first place), and paint the weird small people, and if/how i can make use of meng's paint comb for effect. including the cracking paint effect medium in the art room. and maybe the coloured sand and laquer.
